Criggion Lane
The lane is remembered as it was in the 1950’s, narrow with high hedges, muddy with tractors and cows.
My brother and I are on our bikes, dipping and diving along the lane as it winds round the lower slopes of the Breidden.
Here’s a tricky bit – the lane does a Z bend over the railway bridge. And down we go, legs out and free-wheeling now as we approach the quarry. Dad’s office door is open so we pop in to say hello.
